Srah Srang

A royal bathing pool ("royal bath") facing the entrance of Banteay Kdei, dug in the mid-10th century and remodelled by Jayavarman VII. Sunrise over the water here is the classic quiet alternative to the Angkor Wat crowds: same colours, a fraction of the tripods.
