Cambodia,
time to take it in.

Three ways to explore Cambodia

Choose a route. Make it your own.

The spirit of the journey

Three stops.
And room between the lines.

Wonder, understand, then slow down. This first journey connects three sides of Cambodia, without trying to see everything.

An example, not a fixed programme. Hélène and Sébastien reshape it around your interests, budget and the season. We design the journey; you choose and book your accommodation, activities and transport.

Stone & morning light

Take your time with Angkor.

The first hours are for arriving. Put your bags down, enjoy a meal, get a feel for the town. The temples can wait until tomorrow.

The approach to Angkor Wat.

Then comes Angkor: an opening vista, a face carved in stone, light across a gallery. Two days of discovery, with proper breaks, give you time to look without rushing from one temple to another.

  • Day 1 · Arrive and settle into Siem Reap
  • Days 2–3 · Angkor Wat, the Bayon and breaks in the shade
  • Day 4 · A freer day, between town and countryside
At your pace

Start early if you like; rest during the hottest hours. We choose how many temples to visit and whether you need a guide together.

Day 5 · Travel by road to Phnom Penh. Allow much of the day for the journey and breaks.

The city & its stories

Find a different rhythm by the river.

In Phnom Penh, the journey finds a different voice. Streets come alive, terraces fill up, and an evening walk along the river invites you to linger.

After the drive, keep the programme light. The next day makes room for the capital’s history and architecture, a visit we choose together, then a market or café. Sites of remembrance deserve time and a thoughtful choice based on your interests.

  • Day 5 · Settle in and take an evening walk
  • Day 6 · Heritage, neighbourhoods and Khmer food
At your pace

Two nights for a first encounter with the capital. Love cities and museums? We can give it more time.

Day 7 · Drive to Sihanoukville, then take a boat to Koh Rong. Allow a travel day, planned around schedules and sea conditions.

The island & time to yourself

Make room for the horizon.

After the temples and the city, a different sense of time. Three nights on the island, with two full days without packing your bags.

Walk along the sand, read in the shade, step into the water. There is no need to fill every hour. Choosing the right beach and place to stay matters more than a long activity list: your preferred atmosphere, boat access and the season guide our suggestions.

  • Day 7 · Boat crossing and arrival on the island
  • Days 8–9 · Two days to slow down, your way
At your pace

Sea conditions and boat crossings depend on the weather. We adapt the coastal stay and return buffer to your dates.

The next day, the journey continues back to the mainland. We leave time for this final connection.

The return & the buffer

Give the last day room to breathe.

One final crossing, then the mainland. Day ten is a travel day in its own right, deserving as much attention as the first stops.

Koh RongSihanoukville

Day 10 · Return to the mainland

The boat returns to Sihanoukville. What follows depends on your flights and the crossing conditions: we plan timings and buffers with you, without assuming an international flight can follow the boat on the same day.

  • Day 10 · Boat from Koh Rong to Sihanoukville
  • Then · Onward travel to suit your departure
At your pace

An extra mainland night may be necessary. If so, we adjust the duration and quote; it is not part of the nine nights in this example.

Your final itinerary will specify the return buffer and the transport to book separately.

Before making it your journey

Will this route work for my dates?

The season, heat, boat schedules and your flights may change the order of the stops. We review them with you before finalising the itinerary. The final day does not assume a guaranteed international connection after the boat.

Can I change the length or stops?

Yes. These ten days are a starting point for our conversation. More time at Angkor, a different stop or a mainland buffer night: we adapt the plan to your trip, with a quote for the chosen duration.
