Why Visit
APOPO's Siem Reap visitor centre explains the use of trained rats in humanitarian mine detection. A guided presentation and demonstration introduce the work of the handlers and the continuing impact of unexploded ordnance on Cambodian communities. This is an educational visitor experience, not a visit to an active minefield.
The operator asks visitors to book online. Its published hours are 8:30–17:00 daily, with the last tour at 16:30. Admission is $10 per person; children under ten enter free. Allow around an hour and arrange the visit around an available session. The location on Koumai Road works well alongside a temple morning.
