Why Visit
Founded by Aki Ra, the Cambodia Landmine Museum uses defused mines, displays and personal history to explain the long consequences of conflict. It is on the road towards Banteay Srei, outside central Siem Reap, so it fits naturally into an excursion in that direction.
The museum currently publishes daily hours of 7:30–17:30. Foreign adult admission is $7 and Khmer adult admission $2.50; children under thirteen enter free. A self-guided audio visit is available, while personal tours should be arranged ahead. Confirm current arrangements directly before travelling. The subject can be difficult for children, so choose the pace and explanation to suit your group.
