Pub Street is the name commonly used for Street 8 in central Siem Reap. Bars, restaurants and illuminated signs make it an easy meeting point after a day at the temples. The Old Market and the river are close by, so it is also a useful reference point when exploring on foot.
Expect a lively, tourist-oriented atmosphere rather than a quiet evening. Check menus and prices before ordering, and choose a meeting point away from the loudest venues if travelling with a group. For a calmer outing, use the street as a starting point and explore neighbouring lanes and the riverside.
