Phnom Penh during Francophonie: what to see on 13–17 November
Plan Phnom Penh during Francophonie in November 2026: Village dates, FrancoTech, cultural stops and practical advice for your stay.
Plan Phnom Penh during Francophonie in November 2026: Village dates, FrancoTech, cultural stops and practical advice for your stay.

In Phnom Penh in mid-November? Start with the Francophonie Village: a chance to explore cultural pavilions, food and performances at Wat Botum Garden. The diplomatic summit and FrancoTech serve different audiences. Choosing the right event leaves room to enjoy the city as well.
| Event | 2026 dates | Who is it for? |
|---|---|---|
| Francophonie Village, Wat Botum Garden | 13–17 November | Visitors interested in culture, food and public events |
| FrancoTech, Koh Pich, halls A–F | 14–16 November | Business, innovation, technology and tourism |
| Francophonie Summit | 15–16 November | Official meetings, separate from sightseeing |
The ministerial conference takes place on 14 November. Entry to a public cultural event does not provide access to official meetings.
The announced programme brings together pavilions, food and cultural performances. The France Pavilion lists opening hours of 10am–8pm, with free admission and no booking required, from 13 to 17 November. Check the official Village programme for schedules and admission arrangements for other activities.
Choose something you want to see, then leave time on either side. Families may prefer a shorter visit with a planned break rather than trying to cover every stand. If you are travelling as a group, agree on a meeting point and keep your hotel address available offline.
FrancoTech is an innovation exhibition. Its announced themes include technology for tourism and culture. It may be a good fit if you work in travel, run a business or are particularly interested in those subjects.
Check registration, admission conditions and the timing of your chosen session before setting out. Do not assume that entry works in the same way as at the Village.
Make the Village part of your day rather than your entire itinerary. Use our cultural places guide and Phnom Penh selection to choose another stop that fits your interests.
Leave a buffer before a booked dinner or onward transfer. We do not have a confirmed street-closure plan, so check local announcements and ask your hotel about access on the day. An event programme is not evidence that nearby attractions will be closed.
Save the destination, check that day’s programme and bring water and protection from sun or a passing shower. Arriving in the capital? Our Techo transfer guide helps you choose the journey to your hotel. Our payment guide covers everyday spending.
Programme checked on 6 November 2026. Organisers have announced the dates; schedules and entry arrangements may change.
